Licensing Models MASC voice compression technology from Vianix is a critical enabling technology which offers significant value propositions across a broad array of markets and applications. For that reason, Vianix has designed a flexible licensing model, which we tailor to meet each customer's individual product and business needs. ACM Codecs & SDK Vianix licenses its technology as ACM vocodecs which can be integrated into customer system software via a mature and intuitive SDK. We typically craft site and user based licensing models with our customers in this approach; however we also negotiate fixed price annual license fees, and in all cases provide Software Maintenance Agreements to our customer base. Third Party Licensing Vianix also offers its MASC voice compression technology as 3rd party software, ported to well known Digital Signal Processors (DSP) from major manufacturers. We support this licensing approach with OEM license models directly with the DSP manufacturer, giving them the right to sublicense our technology along with their DSP product as a system solution to their OEM customers. In addition, Vianix co-markets its MASC voice compression technology with DSP manufacturers, negotiating MASC licenses directly with their OEM customers. Software Vianix also offers MASC voice compression technology as software applications that run on Windows and Pocket PC 2003 based platforms respectively. DeskTalk Enterprise Pro and Pocket Talk Enterprise Pro are offered as retail priced unit software packages, with discounts negotiable for large volume orders.
